About Me:
Growing up, I always dreamt of being a teacher, but when it was time to go off to college, I decided to take a big risk and head off to design school! I loved designing children's clothing and working on a team producing fashion shows, but I couldn't get my first love off my mind: Teaching!

I decided to go back to school for my liberal studies major and graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University, where I also received my Teaching Credential.

After my first son was born, I became a stay-at-home mom, but we didn't stay home very often! For the next several years, I poured my love of learning, growth, and creativity into my three children.

Now that my own children are all school-aged and I am back in the classroom, I am thrilled to share my love for lifelong learning with my students at Literacy First Charter School!
